!

<3 love youuu!!

Goodbye..

 It was going to come to this time soon enough. Life is pretty hectic I guess, I just don't find time to blog anymore with school coming up and other events. All I feel like doing is venting and that's not the point.

 I have most definitely grown up and changed a lot since the bubbly old moi! Walking into middle school I can guarentee you if somebody said to me 'Your life will change and become hell' I wouldn't believe them... who would?

 Depressing, yes, yes... but it wasn't all bad, and I am still me for sure.

 So, it was going to come to this point soon enough!

Bye guys. Thanks for looking at my blog... those of you who still do. As cliche as it sounds, you guys were my inspiration to write and truly were what made me still do it. Thanks so much.

And special thanks to Amy whom ended her blog recently too, she was the main inspiration.

Thanks blogger for giving me the chance to explore and write more...

 Overall, thanks guys! We made it to 217 posts...

NDP Disaster.

 Obviously my blog is not what you'd call a 'news' blog. Or a gossip one for that matter. Just right now I wanted to just show you what a great man Jack Layton was and how Canada will miss him.

 August 20, 2011
Toronto, Ontario
Dear Friends,
Tens of thousands of Canadians have written to me in recent weeks to wish me well. I want to thank each and every one of you for your thoughtful, inspiring and often beautiful notes, cards and gifts. Your spirit and love have lit up my home, my spirit, and my determination.
Unfortunately my treatment has not worked out as I hoped. So I am giving this letter to my partner Olivia to share with you in the circumstance in which I cannot continue.
I recommend that Hull-Aylmer MP Nycole Turmel continue her work as our interim leader until a permanent successor is elected.
I recommend the party hold a leadership vote as early as possible in the New Year, on approximately the same timelines as in 2003, so that our new leader has ample time to reconsolidate our team, renew our party and our program, and move forward towards the next election.
A few additional thoughts:
To other Canadians who are on journeys to defeat cancer and to live their lives, I say this: please don’t be discouraged that my own journey hasn’t gone as well as I had hoped. You must not lose your own hope. Treatments and therapies have never been better in the face of this disease. You have every reason to be optimistic, determined, and focused on the future. My only other advice is to cherish every moment with those you love at every stage of your journey, as I have done this summer.
To the members of my party: we’ve done remarkable things together in the past eight years. It has been a privilege to lead the New Democratic Party and I am most grateful for your confidence, your support, and the endless hours of volunteer commitment you have devoted to our cause. There will be those who will try to persuade you to give up our cause. But that cause is much bigger than any one leader. Answer them by recommitting with energy and determination to our work. Remember our proud history of social justice, universal health care, public pensions and making sure no one is left behind. Let’s continue to move forward. Let’s demonstrate in everything we do in the four years before us that we are ready to serve our beloved Canada as its next government.
To the members of our parliamentary caucus: I have been privileged to work with each and every one of you. Our caucus meetings were always the highlight of my week. It has been my role to ask a great deal from you. And now I am going to do so again. Canadians will be closely watching you in the months to come. Colleagues, I know you will make the tens of thousands of members of our party proud of you by demonstrating the same seamless teamwork and solidarity that has earned us the confidence of millions of Canadians in the recent election.
To my fellow Quebecers: On May 2nd, you made an historic decision. You decided that the way to replace Canada’s Conservative federal government with something better was by working together in partnership with progressive-minded Canadians across the country. You made the right decision then; it is still the right decision today; and it will be the right decision right through to the next election, when we will succeed, together. You have elected a superb team of New Democrats to Parliament. They are going to be doing remarkable things in the years to come to make this country better for us all.
To young Canadians: All my life I have worked to make things better. Hope and optimism have defined my political career, and I continue to be hopeful and optimistic about Canada. Young people have been a great source of inspiration for me. I have met and talked with so many of you about your dreams, your frustrations, and your ideas for change. More and more, you are engaging in politics because you want to change things for the better. Many of you have placed your trust in our party. As my time in political life draws to a close I want to share with you my belief in your power to change this country and this world. There are great challenges before you, from the overwhelming nature of climate change to the unfairness of an economy that excludes so many from our collective wealth, and the changes necessary to build a more inclusive and generous Canada. I believe in you. Your energy, your vision, your passion for justice are exactly what this country needs today. You need to be at the heart of our economy, our political life, and our plans for the present and the future.
And finally, to all Canadians: Canada is a great country, one of the hopes of the world. We can be a better one – a country of greater equality, justice, and opportunity. We can build a prosperous economy and a society that shares its benefits more fairly. We can look after our seniors. We can offer better futures for our children. We can do our part to save the world’s environment. We can restore our good name in the world. We can do all of these things because we finally have a party system at the national level where there are real choices; where your vote matters; where working for change can actually bring about change. In the months and years to come, New Democrats will put a compelling new alternative to you. My colleagues in our party are an impressive, committed team. Give them a careful hearing; consider the alternatives; and consider that we can be a better, fairer, more equal country by working together. Don’t let them tell you it can’t be done.
My friends, love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic. And we’ll change the world.
All my very best,
Jack Layton

R.I.P Jack Layton. You will be missed.

Found My Way!

 Getting used to my Grandpa's left clicker mouse since he's a lefty, I'm a righty. :)

It feels good to be back in Perth. As soon as I got here I ran inside and just smiled. I did really miss it here. It's in the country and it's pretty much a private property since it's down a big lane-way and the only neighbors is my nana's sister and husband and animals.

 I've been taking lots and lots of pictures and I have started a video diary kind of thing. I record multiple times during the day just saying what I've been doing, what I'm going to do and stuff like that. I can't wait to show you guys what I have taken! I am going to try my best and post the pictures. But when I get home I am going to edit my video's and put them all together so it's like a movie / documentary.

 So, here there is no wi-fi so I am on my grandpa's laptop. I can check my email too, so if you need to contact me just email me! I assume all of you who look at this should have my email...

 Lots is going on! Too much to type though. Story telling when I get home. I've been especially artsy since I've gotten here... drawing, photography, videos, and I've been writing A LOT! :) Miss home though too.

xoxo

Disney

Disney is definitely on of my favorite places throughout everywhere I've been. (: The magic and the effort that must've gone into making every detail of what a fairy tale looks like. I remember when I went into Mickey Mouse's house with a little, three year old girl at the time and it was just the cutest thing. Eyes shiny and wide with the biggest smile! Mickey and 'Mimmie' ( Minnie ) mouse she met, and I never stopped hearing about it (;

 Back to my whole point of this point! Disney's sayings and quotes, I just love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love them! They are so cute and so here's one I found on Pinterest from Winnie the Pooh (: I'm so going to see the new movie...

Friday

I cannot think of any more 'Friday Fill-In' blog post titles... I've used them all! (;

And...here we go!

1. I hold mostly lyrics / music and too many "what ifs" in my brain.

2. My iPod is someone I like to travel with because it doesn't get grumpy and cranky like my brother...

3. That day, is the day I will become famous and live my dreams!

4. School will be fun this year.

5. Trust is a quality one must have to maintain a good reletionship :)

6. Dancing in the dark.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to spending some time with my visiting Aunt, tomorrow my plans include nothing... and Sunday, I want to bake lots!

Skyscraper.

I literally have no words right now. All I can say is this song is so, so relatable and... powerful. I've never been that big of a Demi Lovato fan, but now I would do anything to meet her. I would probably bawl and tell her she is my idol and that she was beautiful and strong......

The Past...

Today, stuck inside on another one of the dreary days in Nova Scotia, I was supposed to be cleaning my room. Under my bed lies the one thing I'd save in a fire... my memory box. In that box it holds certificates, medals, pictures, art, duo tangs from grades one to six, post cards from Australia and Peru to Paris and London, cards from family members who have passed and much more! As I was searching through that I saw a password and username that lead me to a bunch of priceless slideshows :)

My Story In Details...

*before I die, I will receive a letter from Hogwarts.

This week, the Friday Fill-Ins blog decided to take a more... touching feel to the fill ins. Hope you like them!

1. I am from a friendly, quiet town, from green grass, ice cream stands and Harry Potter.

2. I am from the home with a ginormous growing garden, hiding behind bushes and jumping off of  porch rails pretending to be a spy, getting grass stains and splinters, and the constant smell of fresh grass and flowers, heat and lavender.

3. I am from the Eaglewood neighborhood the rhododendrons, purple, beautiful flowers that only blossomed once a year for seven days. That truly reminded me of summer.

4. I am from Christmas Eve feasts and freckles and olive skin, from Hadskis's and Woolham's and Johnson's.

5. I am from the strict rules and smiles.

And props to Amy's post that helped me figure out how this thing works, and as well more props to her for a touching and lovely, amazing post...(:

A New Fan :)

So, I'm now in love with Harry Potter... the movies and books. I watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire yesterday night and that's when I completely fell in love with it. I'm sad that I've realized that now and not earlier because I am now not able to experience the thrill of the premiere movie or release of a book. All I can do now is go to the last premiere forever in the Harry Potter life...

 Apparently I'm exactly like Hermoine... I look like her, and in a scene she makes an angry face and storms off, according to my mom and Sam that's what I do...

Seen This Before

I laughed so hard... this is Samara she scares the everything out of me and countless nights I've lost sleep over her... ahh! So this is supposed to be Samara... but it's clothes. :) Happens to me all the time...!

Happy Friday!

Okay, so I'm not doing Friday Fill Ins this week because they are extremely ( call me stupid ), confusing.

 Today I finished my dance camp, had a mini recital with a broadway and jazz dance, got persuaded into going to my brother's baseball game and wrote and wrote and wrote etc. :)

HAPPY FRIDAY!

New Obsession

<3 LOVE Cody Simpson <3 He's only two years older than me (;

Forever Belieber

 We all have Bieber Fever whether you guys like it or not (;

 You can't tell  me the first time you saw Justin's videos on YouTube singing Chris Brown's With You, or singing some Usher and you never thought one 'this guy is amazing!' or 'wow, he has some serious potential.' You also can't say when you saw those videos that 'he's an adorable and cute little guy' never popped through your head once. And then when he became famous all of the trash talking haters came. I don't get it!

 I ask the haters why. Most say it's because of his high voice and he sounds like a girl. Well, Usher sings high, Chris Brown sings high too and so does Enrique Iglesias and so many more male singers!
 Some say it's because he's gay and ugly. I guess that's why your girlfriend wants him more than you.  Oh, and he only sings about girls? Wrong. When he released Down To Earth about his parent's divorce, Pray about how everybody should stop taking what they have for granted and stop and pray for the people who have it worse than we do. And Born To Be Somebody! It's about how everyone is special in their own unique way and we all have potential :) You can't blame him for writing about girls either! He's a teenage boy and has a girlfriend... most songs are about a girlfriend or boyfriend or a relationship anyways.
 He gives you more, and you just ignore it! He never did anything to you so... why hate?

 I'm not asking you to be in love with him... I'm just asking you respect him. And the true Beliebers who will never lose faith in him!

Into Editing

More and more I'm getting addicted to photographing i.e. editing :) Sam's getting mad because I'm 'hogging' the computer! Today I made a compromise... some of these pictures were taken by Sam, ideas by me (;

p.s. I had to delete my favorite one because it showed too much me. Lol. I was blowing pink glitter, just imagine it :) Plus, the clarity on blogger really sucks. They aren't that sharp as they were

I'm Speechless

Speechless over this book. It's the most amazing, intense book ever.... It was Killer the second last book in the series of Pretty Little Liars. I would honestly marry it if I could! Oh my goodness... speechless.

The Most Amazing Story,

 If you haven't heard the story of how Kurt Colbaine came up with Smells Like Teen Spirit, here it is;

 So one day Kurt was in the drug store, probably getting we all know what, and he headed into the hygiene isle probably getting some essentials when he saw some deodorants called Teen Spirit. Kurt says "smells like teen spirit to me."
 And that's how the hit Smells Like Teen Spirit became... well, a hit! :) So if you ask me, we owe a lot to Teen Spirit deodorant (;

Summer Bucket List!

 I already have a bucket list but the last couple of days goals have kept flying into my head!

1. Learn to surf

2. Skydive

3. Climb a mountain

4. Go to Australia

5. Go for a hike in the woods in the summer!

6. Go water skiing

7. Go pair sailing

8. When your attached to a helicopter and go flying...

9. Take a flight on a helicopter

10. Zip Lining

That's about it!

Another Day To Be Grateful For!

Dad's coming home today! After sixteen days in the hospital... ack. He's sure going to be happy being in his own bed again!

A First!

 The first time in a while that I've remembered about these on a Friday..

And...here we go!

1. Blue skies a sun, and cheers to a new summer!

2. That joyous place where nothing can go wrong called memory lane is where I've been living lately.

3. Kids are little rays of sunshine!

4. Sunroller coasters,friends; these are some of the best things about vacation.

5. Love is a feeling when you trust anyone more than yourself.

6. What the heck are submarine races. <- (they sound fun!)

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to fireworks for Canada day, tomorrow my plans include maybe my daddy coming home and Sunday, I want to get my brothers iPod!

Proud To Be A Canadian!

Happy birthday Canada :) I'm so thankful to be living in a country like this, known around the world to be friendly and peaceful. Although we do have some nasty rain, snow and hurricanes, just be thankful we don't have any tsunamis, tornados, wars, volcanoes etc.

 In honor of our growing country we're having fireworks tonight! :)

Thinking Of..

For the wedding it's my choice the way I want to do my hair. I'm thinking curly, like beach waves or ringlets. Or maybe straight, in a ponytail with a braid. Not sure yet! But this is a possibility.

Beiber Fever

This guy is hilarious <3 At the end Justin laughs... marry me?

Joe Jonas

Oh my god, this made me laugh my butt off! Words cannot describe how much I love this. I never was much of a Jonas Brothers fan but... I love Joe.

More Edits

I honestly don't know where my writing comes from. I remember watching interviews with singers and the famous question "how do you write a song?" gets asked, they all respond "It happens at the most random times. I literally cannot just sit and say 'today I'm going to write a song'." Every time! And I just remember thinking what a boring awnser! Although, it's true. It does happen at the most random times! Half of the time I have no pen or paper around...

 So today I was in the car when one little 'quote' I call it popped into my mind. And I honestly have no idea where it came from! So I saved in notes on my phone... :)

*I will post a picture later. Picnik is extremely frustrating. :-/
